Commercial IT Business Integrator EMEA - Paris / Antwerp


For an international organisation committed to improving animal health and producing proteins I am currently looking for a Commercial IT Business Integrator.

In this position you will be responsible for both the EMEA regional intelligence capabilities as well as the geographical support for France, Benelux and Nordics.


In particular with regards to the EMEA Business Intelligence

You will act as the liaison between the EMEA commercial organization and the global CRM and Business Intelligence IT team, translating the needs of the business into IT

solutions and representing the EMEA region on the global business intelligence agenda.

Responsibilities include:

-Taking IT ownership of the reporting and dashboarding capabilities across the region (Tableau, Sales data reporting tools, …) for all commercial functions (sales, marketing, pricing, supply, forecasting)

-Bringing true ‘science to sales’ by driving the larger business intelligence strategy across

functions locally and regionally

-Helping to create synergies across affiliates and functions and further drive standardization

where possible on metrics, reports and tools

-Acting as the EMEA stakeholder in defining the future state and roadmap to Elanco’s longer

term business intelligence and analytics environment

-Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement in training and support of the business intelligence capabilities across the region

On the commercial IT support side for France, Benelux and Nordics, your responsibilities are ensuring high productivity of the affiliate sales organization by:

– Educating and implementing available capabilities that improve efficiency

(, SharePoint, Shared mailbox, Docusign, …) and take admin work away from

the representatives

– Managing local communications on system changes and local impact from the global IT

roadmap (system upgrades, policy changes, …)

– Minimizing business disruption and employee frustration by acting as the go-to person

to the affiliate for commercial IT questions and issues and help escalate for resolution

through the global IT organization

– Working closely with affiliate leadership to understand and implement opportunities for process improvement through IT solutions

– Coordinating and providing advice on implementation of country-specific commercial IT


– Ensuring full compliance of local IT systems and data: audit-readiness, data privacy, data

protection, ongoing IT solution validation, IT vendor management, etc


The ideal candidate:

– Holds at minimum a Bachelor’s degree

– Is fluent in the English and the French language, speaking Dutch is an asset

– Has proven expertise with business intelligence and analytics concepts and implementations

– Has proven development expertise with business intelligence and reporting solutions (preferably Tableau)

– Has demonstrated ability to translate data into easy to digest information

– Regarding business acumen: has the ability to build and maintain business relationships at all levels of the organisation and the ability to understand and build business process knowledge and communicate in business terms vs IT

– Is a strong communicator in a varied of areas / situations and has the ability to communicate orally and written with business partners, leadership, peers and vendors

– Possesses demonstrated interpersonal skills and cross-functional teamwork with the ability to work in a virtual organisation covering multiple time zones

– Is strong analytical person with creative problem solving and investigative skills and a value-based mindset.

– Has proven ability to focus and select aggressively in light of defined priorities, while taking select risk-based decisions

– And above all: understands business processes and possesses knowledge around sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical (animal health) industry
