Interim Specialist Supply Chain - the Netherlands

For an international Medical Devices client based in the east of the Netherlands, QTC is currently looking to engage a Specialist Supply Chain for a project of 12 months.


This client is a leading manufacturing and development organisation of Medical Devices. The site in the Netherlands is dynamic and fast moving. Currently they have an opening within the Supply Chain team for someone with great analytical skills, with a track record in Supply Chain projects.


The primary purpose of the role is to positively impact cost benefits for the client, while at the same time drive improvements in company processes. You will be responsible for supplier management and planning, as well as standard purchasing tasks like PO management, RFP Management and contracting.

Some of your tasks include:

  • Manage all current and new programs.
  • Participate and lead supply chain and purchasing projects
  • Analyse processes, identifying cost and business process improvements.
  • Manage suppliers
  • Optimising current processes to maximise output.
  • Work closely with staff and other departments as well as senior management to solve problems


you will have the following requirements:

  • Minimum BA degree in business/engineering/supply chain management, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Purchasing, Inventory Management Modules within a manufacturing environment,
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Strong analytic skills and solid abilities to make good decisions
  • Prepared to travel for an average of 5 days per month.
