About your role

This is how you will make the difference

As Project Manager Office Leader, you will be establishing, maintaining, and improving the Project Management Office to include governance and management of the overall project portfolio, tools to aid project prioritisation, standard project management tools, processes, and training, KPI’s and tracking of the project portfolio and identification of potential tools that would bring benefit to the business in the project management space.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Defining and developing the detailed, continuous process by which projects are evaluated, prioritised, selected, and managed
  • Evaluating all projects on a regular basis with project managers
  • Ensuring consistent and accurate progress reporting on the costs and other critical resources consumed by projects
  • Enforcing a collaborative effort that enables Steering Committee to reach agreement on portfolio goals and objectives
  • Providing management, coaching, training, and standardised tools to project managers to help them understand project evaluation criteria and to enable them to efficiently generate inputs for the project template
  • Creating and maintaining foundation of project management tools, templates and documentation for all operations led and supported projects
  • Communicating to project (s) proponents and other stakeholders which projects are approved and project priorities
  • Providing stakeholders with timely assessments of portfolio progress, with early identification and correction of portfolio-level issues that may impact performance

What you bring

The ideal candidate profile looks the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience in a complex project management organisation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in working in a Medical or Life Science related environment is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
