Analyst QC Laboratory - Antwerpen

Function Group: Quality/RA / QC/ Lab Analyst


A world renowned pharmaceutical company with the highest quality of internal training programs is looking for an Analyst QC to support the companies largest department: QC chemical laboratories (300 employees in total). The teams are relatively large and consists of around 15 to 20 people to test the raw materials of medication. The teams are divided by working with different techniques in large molecules, small molecules, innovation, shifts and complaint handling. This international magnate and leader within the pharmaceutical development highlight themselves by their ability to offer an above average salary, high end internal training and room for people to keep growing.     The position of Analyst QC Laboratory is situated within the GMP guidelines so you can imagine that every report is to be carefully written down and requires you to work precise and concise. You will work together with different disciplines such as production, engineering, project leaders and quality employees. This demanding position requires you to work under high pressure coming from different directions: communication, details and within certain periods big batches will be produced that will need more testing hours than usual. This pressure comes in waves which creates a dynamic work environment that can be quite demanding, needing you to be flexible and able to switch gears.


    The ideal candidate has:

    • BSc or MSc in pharmaceutical technology, biochemistry or chemistry
    • Fluency in Dutch and English
    • Knowledge of: ELISA, GC, HPLC, UPLC and Slot blot
    • Strong documentation skills
    • The ability to see the details and to work accurately
    • The ability to work together with Project Engineers & Quality Engineers

    Added advantage:

    • Experience in a pharmaceutical lab or in a GMP environment
    • Experience with GLIMS, chromatography and Agar for ELISA
