For a unique contract research organisation (CRO), we are seeking a Business Development Manager. The organisation is unique for two reasons. Firstly, they don’t only work for clinical projects but also do pre-clinical phases. The second reason that makes this company unique is that they come with their own platform. With their platform, they can simulate gastrointestinal perfectly, because of this they can study physicochemical, enzymatic, and microbial parameters easily. The company is growing and has the ambition the be one of the biggest existing CRO’s in the world. And now we are looking for a highly skilled Business Development Manager to help reach that goal.
As Business Development Manager is it your duty to make strategies to generate sales for your organisation. For this role, we are looking for someone who knows how to sell and close deals by applying your knowledge about the life science industry. The market you will work in is not only Belgian, but has a global scope. In this position, you will not have to approach cold leads. The leads will come to you, and you will ensure your company is what they are looking for.
Besides generating sales, you will also lead the development team. You will be responsible for ensuring that you grow as a team and achieve goals together, as well as improving the skills of your team.
