HORAMA, a French biotech company based in Paris and Nantes, is looking for a CMC Project Manager. The company specialises in gene therapy for the treatment of rare, inherited retinal diseases. Backed by a strong syndicate of investors HORAMA aims being one of the key players in the field of ophthalmic gene therapy, while also looking into new disease indications.
HORAMA’s approach is based on vector technology using non-pathogenic, recombinant adeno-associated viruses (rAAV). The rAAV carrying the therapeutic gene of interest penetrates the target retinal cells, inducing the expression of the functional protein. This restores normal cell function, prevents further retinal deterioration, and improves or restores visual function.
Due to a new licensing deal, they are looking to hire an experienced CMC Project Manager who will run and oversee several projects that are being executed by research partners. Your main responsibilities will consist of managing the CMC for several projects at different levels of development where you will be focussing on for instance process development, analytical control and QC.
Working autonomously you will have a lot of a control, see the direct effect of your efforts and will report to the CMC Manager.
As the ideal candidate you are a hands-on professional, dependable and a strong communicator.
What can you expect from HORAMA?
