For a rapidly growing medical devices scale-up, we are looking for a Design Engineer. The organisation develops and produces innovative and life changing electronic medical devices with the goal to give people more time to enjoy life. This organisation is one that people can rely on. Currently, the organisation experiences tremendous growth, and is expected to become a global leader in the near future. At the moment, about 100 employees work at the organisation which are talented and ambitious professionals who believe in a work hard/play hard approach.

Function

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for development and design of innovative medical devices. You will be part of a relative small but highly motivated team. A significant chance to make an impact within the worldwide healthcare. Making innovations on products that will give people more quality of life, day in day out. Some of the duties are making prototypes, reports and tests enduring the whole development life cycle. While doing these tasks, you will have to deal with GMP and necessary process validations. As we strive to make meaningful difference, we expect that you have relevant scientific and technical knowledge.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor degree mechanical engineering or equivalent experience with fine mechanics
  • Experience within the field of design and development preferable within medical devices or a regulated industry
  • SolidWorks experience
  • Highly motivated and the drive and ability to work in a cross-functional team of electrical, mechanical and system engineers
  • Good communication skills in English
