For a rapidly growing medical devices scale-up, we are looking for a Design Quality Assurance Engineer. The organisation develops and produces innovative and life changing electronic medical devices with the goal to give people more time to enjoy life. This organisation is one that people can rely on. At the moment, about 100 employees work at the organisation which are talented and ambitious professionals who believe in a work hard/play hard approach.

Function

Within this role you can make a significant impact into a small motivated R&D team and will be responsible for the design of the products. You will support product design and development by using your knowledge of materials, development processes and quality standard ISO 13485 to identify quality and regulatory requirements and develop plans to demonstrate the design meets its design criteria on quality aspects. This relates to tasks such as: developing design control systems, using relevant scientific developments on several product- and production processes and apply this in a quality context, communicating several regulations, supporting risk management, and keeping technical documents up-to-date.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor degree in a technical discipline
  • Two years of experience in a design assurance/quality role gained in a medical devices environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Pre: Knowledge on injection moulding or small parts
  • Strong communicator in English
  • Highly motivated personality

Offer

The organisation can offer you the following:

  • Expected monthly salary range of €3,500 to €5,000 depending on your experience and expertise
  • 32 days per year
