For an international medical devices company active in Cardiac Rhythm Management, we are looking for a Field Clinical Specialist who will serve the Central and South-Western part Germany. The company develops, manufactures and markets products for the diagnosis, treatment and management of heart rhythm disorders and heart failures. CRM products include high-voltage defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation therapy devices and low-voltage pacemakers. This company has approximately 1000 employees with operations chiefly in France and Italy.
When you join the clinical affairs department, you will become a key element in their dynamic team, reporting to the Clinical Country Manager Germany & Austria regularly. You will work remotely from home 20% of your time and be working at the site locations on the other days. Depending on your location, you will require to stay over night from time-to-time. The area you will be solely responsible for is Central and South-Western Germany.
Responsibilities will include: Support clinical trials and ensure timely submission of relevant documentations (protocols, etc.). Perform visits regarding pre-study, implants, follow-ups and assisting in site training for study start-up. You will maintain regular contact with all sites, build strong relationships and ensure all compliancy through this contact. You will support the sites in technical and clinical aspects such as product application.
Internally, you will work with CRA’s and monitors. You will assist in several clinical administrative tasks and give clinical support in presentations. Your knowledge gained at the sites will serve as a resource to new product development.

In this role, you will be the only person serving the above-mentioned region. This requires a high-amount of travel, and working independently. You will get all the freedom to manage this area as you wish.
