For a rapidly growing medical devices scale-up, we are looking for a Junior Software Engineer. The organisation develops and produces innovative and life changing electronic medical devices with the goal to give people more time to enjoy life. This organisation is one that people can rely on. Currently, the organisation experiences tremendous growth and is expected to become a global leader in the near future. At the moment, about 100 employees work at the organisation which are talented and ambitious professionals who believe in a work hard/play hard approach.


Within this role, you can make a significant impact into a small motivated R&D software team and will be responsible for the implementation, design and maintenance of highly innovative medical device solutions. This is a role where you develop advanced embedded software, communication protocols and algorithms. Your software developments will be implemented into a sleek and easy to use medical device.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Programming in embedded C and/or C++, Python
  • Implementation of communication protocols (BLE, SPI, I2C, UART, etc.)
  • Developing, delivering, deploying, and maintaining hardware products with embedded software in a medical environment
  • Working with Linux based embedded and / or RTOS systems


The ideal candidate should have:

  • One year of programming experience in embedded C/C++/C#/Python
  • Experience with testing embedded software applications, e.g. unit, integration and system testing.
  • Knowledge of medical device compliance and quality standards
  • Experience in developing medical device software to communicate to mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and related tools
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Highly motivated personality


The organisation can offer you the following:

  • Expected monthly salary range of €4,000 to €5,500 depending on your experience and expertise
  • 32 days per year

  • 40 hours per week to be worked anytime between 07:00 to 19:00
