Lead Engineer Mechatronics - Apeldoorn

Organization

For an organisation that manufactures and distributes IVD equipment, we are looking for a Lead Engineer Mechatronics. The organisation started with the development of a new generation equipment. Therefore, they are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer who will be responsible for taking the lead in the mechanical and mechatronics development.

Function

Within the organisation, you will cover a varied and complex role in the team. The team consist of two Mechanical Engineers and one Electrical Engineer. As a Lead Engineer, you take the lead in mechanical and mechatronic development. Due to the complexity of the integration of the (sub)modules, you are able to work and think strategically in order to develop better quality and cost effective products.

Requirements

The requirements for the role are the following:

  • A technical Bachelor or Master degree for instance in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
  • At least three years of relevant experience for instance in the medical devices or a similar industry
  • Experience with 3D CAD and PDM packages (e.g. CREO, SolidWorks)
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and verbal
