The organisation is a Dutch pharmaceutical company that is primarily focused on the development, registration, production and commercialisation of (bio) pharmaceutical products and looking for a Manager Investigational Medicine Product. Within the company the activities of production, quality control, consultancy services and product development are brought together. Due to growth and expansion of their activities, they are looking for a Manager IMP.


As the Manager IMP, you are responsible for leading the IMP department that is responsible for a varied complex of pharmaceutical products. The products are produced on behalf of a wide range of national and international customers. By properly motivating, informing and managing your team, you know how to continue the growth that the IMP departments had experienced over the year. The team you are responsible for consists out of two project managers and four IMP operators. Together with the project managers, you are responsible for the implementation of project management for IMP projects. In addition, you provide relevant operational input to the business development department when preparing quotations.


The ideal candidate has the following requirements:

  • At least three years of management experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry such as the chemical and high end industry
  • Bachelor or Master, preferably a life science orientated one, such as Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Hands-on experience in a regulated production environment
  • Experience with regulations of pharmaceutical product development and dossier development is an advantage
  • Known with GMP-guidelines and basic understanding of clinical studies/trials
  • You are analytically strong, result-oriented, you plan and organise well and thanks to your excellent communication skills you know how to guide the team well
  • Strong communication skills both in Dutch and English, in written and speech. Non native Dutch speakers are also invited to apply to the role
