For one of Europe’s leaders in respiratory care, we are looking for an experienced Team Leader for the Planning department. The organisation offers a broad portfolio of products and services for home care, and have been playing a significant role in the evolution of respiratory care over the years. The service they offer sets them apart from other suppliers, and ensured them to grow extensively in the Benelux over the last couple years. Right now, the company has about 150 employees in the Benelux and is expecting to keep growing. Within the planning department, you will report to the senior supply chain manager, and you will be managing a team of fifteen employees and two seniors.

Function

The planning department is the first point of contact for clients, patients, prescribers, and other departments. Therefore, your team will be determining the image and reputation of the company and how they are valued by their stakeholders. The key responsibility of the planning team is ensuring efficient and optimal planning of appointments and deliveries at the homes of patients, and at clients such as hospitals, dentists, and care homes. Within the role as Planning Team Lead, you guide and supervise two senior members and the team and make it possible for them to be successful. Next to that, continuous improvement and innovative projects will be important topics in your work considering the rapid growth of the organisation and the speed of innovation in the healthcare industry. Your main responsibility is ensuring smooth running processes, determining strategy, and overall responsibility over the team and the senior members.

Requirements

The ideal candidate profile looks as follows:

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory
  • At least three years of experience with managing a team
  • Strategic people management experience
  • Experience within the healthcare industry
  • Being able to determine strategy and create structure
  • Strong in stakeholder management and managing expectations
  • Commercial and customer oriented mindset
  • Proactive
  • Good and active listener
