For a rapidly growing Medical Devices company, we are looking for a QC Engineer. This start-up develops and manufactures innovative and life-changing electronic Medical Devices with the goal of giving people with diabetes more time to enjoy life. This organisation is one that people can rely on. At this moment, the organisation is experiencing tremendous growth and is expected to become a global leader in its field in the near future. Currently, the organisation employs around 100 talented and ambitious professionals who believe in a work hard/play hard approach.


As a QC Engineer, you are not only involved in working activities on site, but also with the suppliers. This exists in contacting suppliers and support CAPA’s, Supplier audits, Business review meetings and yearly evaluations. Also at the manufacturing location, you are in direct contact with stakeholders where you are responsible for final releases, incoming inspections, validation and calibrations. The protocols are mainly written by manufacturing engineers where you are the one that converts them by writing, executing and coordinating test methods.


For this challenging and varied role, we believe it is important that you meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering/ health sciences/ Quality/ Mechanical or equivalent experience
  • Experience in working within quality engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of quality control principles
  • Good knowledge of validation, test method validation/ gage R&R and statistical techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO 13485
  • Strong admin and IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Dutch language is not required
