For a rapidly growing organisation that specialises in the development of high-tech systems for several industries, we are looking for a Quality Engineer. This organisation operates in industries such as medical technology, analytics, semiconductors, automotive, and consumer electronics. With development and manufacturing facilities internationally and in the Netherlands, they are a strong partner for clients, whom they help further develop state-of-the-art projects.

Function

Due to the future growth, strict regulations, and quality guidelines that apply in the industries this organisation is active in, we are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer. You will work solely in the medical division of the organisation and be part of several innovative medical system development projects.

In your role as a Quality Engineer, you will act as a “process coach” in project teams to ensure quality standards are met. From the execution until the delivery of all projects, your tasks relate to the following:

Giving overall support to- and internally promote the QMS by giving regular support to team members and production employees
Supervising the execution of (key)supplier audits
Reviewing necessary documentation
Initiating improvements for processes and procedures, and reporting the non-conformities

Requirements

The ideal candidate has:

5+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience in an R&D environment of mechatronic or systems that involve software
Technical education, at least Bachelor level
Experience working with ISO9001
Strong in change management
Excellent communication skills and the ability to advise towards all levels of the organisation
