Our client is a leading supplier of laser-based solutions for the technology industry, currently we have a position available as (Interim) Sales Consultant MedTech Laboratories. Their laser systems are vital in the manufacture of printed circuit boards, microchips, automotive parts, solar panels and many other components. Their machines allow customers to manufacture smaller and higher- precision components. At the same time, the functionality of the components can be increased and new design options can be used. This creates products on the cutting edge of technology, both for the industry and for consumers.

This stock exchange listed organisation keeps growing in multiple sectors currently their equipment is more and more used for medical applications like microfluidics and flexible sensors on the skin. But then the systems are sold to faculties or institutes related to medical devices, healthcare and biotechnology. Knowing this, we are looking for a sales consultant with experience in a medical laboratory environment.


Within this role you will be responsible for opening doors to university faculties and research institutes related to medical devices, health care and biotechnology. You will acquire knowledge about laser-based laboratory/prototyping equipment to present of these solutions. Years of experience into universities and research institutes give you the ability to recognise applications and market trends.

Your tasks will be, but not limited to:

  • Building relations and business opportunities with university faculties and research institutes related to medical devices, health care and biotechnology
  • Business development for laser-based laboratory equipment
  • Mainly operating in Europe
  • Customer-visits and online calls with sales team and/or distributors


Our ideal candidate should have:

  • Enthusiasm about MedTech innovations
  • Several years of experience selling medical laboratory equipment to universities, re-search institutes and laboratories
  • Good knowledge about applications and market trends
  • Excellent network into universities and research institutes
  • Good communication skills in English, every other language is a pre


Our client offers the following:

  • At least a 6 months contract with perspective for the longer term
  • Complete Remote role with occasional site visits
  • +- 16 hours a week
  • A good hourly rate
