For a start-up company active in the diagnostics industry, we are looking for a Scientific Project Manager Trainer. This company develops innovative diagnostic systems that are able to detect diseases in the early stages. This increases the survival rates, improves healthcare, and reduces costs. They currently work on several clinical studies spread out over several locations in North-America, Europe and Asia. Additionally, this organisation is rolling out their application in practice. Thereby, this organisation offers a research and analysis platform.


As a Scientific Project Manager Trainer, you will report to the COO and work closely with the other (Senior) Scientific Project Managers. Your main responsibility will be to provide training for the correct use of the application of their product. This means you will travel to several locations and get the chance to visit hospitals and congresses over the world. Additionally, you will be involved and responsible for presenting other information such as the results of the studies. Additionally, you will be involved with tasks related to:

  • Thinking of new specifications for the device and platform
  • Helping with risk analyses, internal audits and descriptions in the technical documentation
  • Keeping in touch with clinical partners, research groups and other external partners
  • Supporting the writing grant requests
  • Supporting the writing of blogs and white papers
  • Supporting with the writing of scientific publications
  • Analysing data with several analysis softwares


The ideal candidate has the following profile:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in a scientific or technical area, such as Engineering, Biomedical Engineering
  • Fluent in English, fluency in Dutch is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in research and strong writing skills
  • Strong affinity with medical technology
  • Preferably: Knowledge of relevant guidelines (ISO13485, MDR)
  • Motivated by a dynamic start-up environment
  • Accurate and detail oriented
