Senior Systems Architect - Leiden

As a Senior System Architect, it’s your mission to deliver robust innovation, ready for certification and launch onto the market. You have a vision and proven leadership, but you specifically want to work in a start- or scale-up environment where you get your hands dirty yourself. You make sure that the separate projects of designing and developing hardware and software are robust, and that the interrelationships between them are carefully managed to deliver one solid integrated product. Your software/hardware developments will be implemented into a sleek and easy to use medical device. Your core tasks will be developing, delivering, deploying, and maintaining hardware products with embedded software in a medical device.

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

• Development of the overall innovation strategy
• Identify risks and design solutions upfront
• Analysis, design, and implementation of specifications
• Ensure high-quality, robust, and easy-to-maintain hardware that complies with medical device requirements and relevant quality standards
• Developing, testing and integrating codes
• Defining and communicating software design consequences for architectural and requirement choices
