Function

The Service Supervisor will be in charge of on-site and workshop service activities, such as preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades and installations, and maintaining the hardware installed base, among other things. The Service Supervisor oversees the daily activities and planning of the on-site and workshop Service Technicians. Additional assistance to our field colleagues will be a part of this role’s responsibilities. This is a supervisory on-site/workshop position that requires hands-on experience. In other words, a broad role that will require travel to a variety of locations, including hospitals and distributors in the EMEA region.

Your tasks will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Supervision of Service Technicians
  • Coordinating and managing Service Technicians daily activities
  • Managing priority levels and performing preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and upgrade activities on the hardware installed at customer sites and the Service Center.
  • Managing the Service reports and database
  • Complaint analysis, documentation, and reporting
  • The annual review process for the Service Technicians
  • Supporting Sales and Product specialists
  • Spend 20-30% of your time at customer sites (mainly within Germany, France, and the United Kingdom)

Requirements

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • A minimum of 2-5 (HBO) years of experience in technical (field) service, preferable in the medical environment
  • Experience with people management
  • Strong communication skills in English. (French is a Pré)
  • The ability to work stand-alone and in a team
  • A service-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to spend at least 30% of your working hours at the customer site
