For a rapidly growing organisation in the medical devices industry, we are looking for a Supply Chain Planner for the outbound planning team in the EMEA. The organisation develops and produces innovative and life changing instruments and products for the diagnosis of cancer, by providing integrated solutions through best-in-class innovation, quality and customer care. In the EMEA region, they have 15 local offices and the central headquarters is located in the Netherlands. In the last 12 years, the company has grown from 20 to 240 employees in the EMEA region. In this role, you will be a part of the supply chain department consisting out of nine hard working and ambitious employees, and you will be reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.
Within this role, you will be responsible for the outbound supply chain flows to direct channels, the regional business units in 15 countries, and indirect channels, the distributors active in the EMEA. You are the main point of contact for logistics activities, and responsible for in-time delivery and high level service to the customers. A large part of this role consists of operational tasks, managing the supplied orders for both channels, and contacting with logistics providers and customers. Besides, your responsibility is continuous improvement and innovation in the IT logistics team and tools. Besides that, the extraordinary growth of the organisation, there are multiple projects where the supply chain department aims to focus on where you can play an essential role in, such as outsourcing transportation, improving the newly implemented ERP system and replacing old logistics processes.
