Role OverviewThe Calibration Engineer is responsible for ensuring full compliance and effectiveness of the site calibration system. This role supports manufacturing, operations, and facilities by maintaining, improving, and safeguarding all inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IM&TE) in line with GMP and ISO 13485 standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the site calibration system to ensure zero overdue calibrations
  • Develop and oversee the master calibration schedule
  • Execute and document calibration activities (internal and external)
  • Maintain calibration records within ERP/asset management systems
  • Analyze calibration data and optimize calibration intervals
  • Support audits and ensure continuous audit readiness
  • Manage non-conformances and CAPAs related to calibration
  • Support equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop in-house calibration capabilities and new methods

What you bring

Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Metrology or similar)
  • 4–6 years’ experience in calibration within regulated industries (medical device/pharma preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and calibration/metrology principles
  • Experience with ERP/asset management systems (e.g., Maximo)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
