A fast-growing, innovation-driven pharmaceutical company is strengthening its European Medical Affairs organisation and is looking to appoint an EU Healthcare Compliance Manager. With multiple upcoming launches and an expanding EU footprint, this role plays a key part in keeping medical activities compliant, practical, and well-supported across Europe.
This is a hands-on healthcare compliance role, embedded within Medical Affairs, created to support growth, new product launches, and increasing regulatory complexity at EU level

This is how you will make the difference

As EU Healthcare Compliance Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day healthcare compliance activities across Europe with a strong operational focus. You will act as the primary point of contact for EU healthcare compliance within Medical Affairs, providing hands-on guidance to Medical Affairs teams and Medical Directors on compliance-related questions. You will be responsible for reviewing medical and scientific materials to ensure alignment with EFPIA and local country codes, supporting the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of compliance procedures and SOPs, and delivering and coordinating compliance training across EU Medical Affairs teams. In addition, you will monitor regulatory and code developments and translate them into practical guidance, ensure appropriate documentation, traceability, and audit readiness, and work closely with Legal and other internal stakeholders to keep activities aligned and compliant.

What you bring

This role is well suited to someone who brings:•    Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare compliance within the pharmaceutical industry•    BSc in a health-related field required; MSc strongly preferred•    Practical experience with EFPIA codes and EU healthcare compliance frameworks•    Experience supporting or working across multiple EU countries•    Hands-on, pragmatic mindset with strong stakeholder management skills•    Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with Medical Affairs and Legal•    Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
