As a High-end Service Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of advanced microscopy systems. You play a key role in diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and software issues, both in the workshop and on-site across Europe.You contribute to pre-installations and system improvements, support Field Service Engineers remotely, and take ownership of troubleshooting and root cause analysis. You work closely with internal teams and international stakeholders, ensuring systems operate at the highest standards.In addition, you maintain demo equipment, support knowledge sharing within the organization, and grow into a technical expert, eventually training engineers and contributing to technical documentation.

We are looking for a hands-on and analytical engineer with a strong technical foundation.

• MBO degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical environment
• Experience with complex systems (mechanical, electrical, and software)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Service-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel within Europe (±50%)
