For our client a leading global pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with a strong focus on quality excellence, we’re looking to recruit a Quality Operations Manager / Qualified Person to ensure compliant batch release and drive high-performing QA operations across the site. This position is specifically interesting as you will take on a pivotal leadership role with direct impact on product quality and patient safety while further developing QP expertise.

This is how you will make the difference

As Quality Operations Manager / QP, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end QA activities while acting as a key decision-maker in batch certification and compliance.
  • Provide oversight of Quality Operations across site, including QA for production, QC, engineering, and validation activities 
  • Lead batch release and act as the primary Qualified Person for product certification 
  • Manage and develop a team of QA Specialists and QPs/Release Responsible Persons 
  • Review and approve MBRs, deviations, OOS/OOT investigations, and complaints 
  • Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of quality procedures and systems 
  • Support regulatory inspections and ensure timely CAPA implementation 
  • Contribute to site quality strategy and operational excellence initiatives 
  • Act as a key stakeholder across cross-functional teams to ensure GMP compliance

What you bring

You are a quality-driven professional with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Master’s degree in a scientific discipline 
  • Proven experience within QA operations in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry 
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and batch release processes 
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience (5 years)
  • Experience handling deviations, CAPAs, and regulatory inspections 
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken Agile mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills 
  • QP certification is highly preferred, or eligibility to obtain can be considered
