About your role
This is how you will make the difference
As Engineering Manager – Supply Chain Delivery Automation Systems, you will lead engineering operations across EMEA within a state-of-the-art European Distribution Center. You will design and implement automation solutions using Industry 4.0 and smart technologies such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, and WCS. From concept to deployment, you'll manage complex projects including risk analysis, FAT/SAT testing, and knowledge transfer. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers on both equipment upgrades and new builds, contribute to lean and Six Sigma programs, and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you’ll develop SOPs, training initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and IT standards—all while staying on budget and meeting performance KPIs.

What you bring
You’re a technically driven leader with a strategic mindset, ready to scalehigh-volume automation systems in regulated logistics settings. Youbring:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field(Master’s/MBA preferred)• 10+ years in supply chain engineering or distribution automation,ideally within highly regulated environments• Proven experience with high-throughput automation (e.g., Autostore,Shuttle systems)• Strong expertise in industrial automation spanning traditional controlsystems (PLC, SCADA, WCS) and modern Industry 4.0 technologies(AI/ML, Digital Twins, IoT)• Hands-on knowledge of WMS/WCS, lean manufacturing, and end-to-end distribution systems• Familiarity with European safety regulations and equipment standards• Excellent communication, project leadership, and stakeholdermanagement skills• Fluent English; French or German is a plus
