This is how you will make the difference

As their Account Manager Benelux, you will manage and develop the customer relationships across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and collaborate with application specialists to support existing clients and expand our footprint in the region. Your focus will be primarily account management/development (approx. 70%), with room for strategic business development (approx. 30%) to grow existing accounts and identify new opportunities. You will be stepping into a role with an established customer base, but the freedom and responsibility to make it your own. This includes developing tailored regional plans, building partnerships with key opinion leaders, and helping customers integrate our solutions into their clinical workflows. Your Responsibilities • Manage and expand relationships with existing customers in the Benelux region • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to align on strategy and goals • Explore business development opportunities to grow revenue from current accounts and identify new leads • Understand customer needs and propose suitable product solutions • Support educational and marketing initiatives in the region • Represent the company at industry conferences and events • Coordinate internally with application specialists and support teams to ensure excellent customer service • Work according to ISO 13485-certified processes and contribute to a culture of quality and transparency

What you bring

3–8 years of Medical Diagnostics industry experience in a similar commercial role; ideally within molecular diagnostics or life sciences. For the rest the ideal profile is:

 

  • A self-starter with strong ownership skills and the ability to create and execute your own account plans
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus
  • having an academic background in molecular biology or diagnostics is a strong advantage, but not required
  • Able to travel within the Benelux region
  • Experienced with complex diagnostic products and customer education is beneficial
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and commercial drive
  • Comfortable with working independently with regular sparring and support from management
