About your role

This is how you will make the difference

In this role, you will oversee transportation and logistics operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and maintaining a safe, organized environment. You will supervise outgoing goods processes, monitor employee availability and transport capacity, and hire external resources if necessary. Leadership is key, as you will initiate daily improvements, address team objectives and performance, and ensure proper training and development for new and existing employees. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with employment agencies, oversee temporary worker planning, and address deviations in processes such as sorting, loading, and distribution.

What you bring

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in logistics and transport management, combined with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key qualifications include:

MBO/MBO+ level of education in Logistics or Transport Management;
Several years of management experience, preferably in fine-meshed distribution;
Knowledge of GDP regulations related to temperature-controlled transport and familiarity with TMS or transport planning applications;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude;
Affinity with a 24-hour distribution network.
