This is how you will make the difference

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding the company's commercial footprint within the biotech, biopharma and advanced therapy sectors. You will identify and engage high-potential customers, develop strategic partnerships and help accelerate the adoption of innovative cell expansion technology.Working closely with commercial, marketing, product development and operations teams, you will act as the voice of the customer while contributing directly to business growth and long-term market positioning.Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage new customers within biotech, biopharma and academic GMP environments
  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outreach, networking and industry events
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, CROs and technology partners
  • Build and execute territory and account development plans
  • Lead commercial discussions, scientific presentations and proposal development
  • Manage and forecast sales pipelines to achieve ambitious growth targets
  • Gather customer feedback and translate market needs into product improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with marketing on conferences, campaigns and market visibility initiatives
  • Represent the company at international conferences, customer meetings and industry events

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline
  • Approximately 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management or a similar commercial role
  • Proven ability to generate opportunities and build long-term customer relationships
  • Strong scientific understanding and the ability to discuss cell culture processes, GMP environments and bioprocess technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems and commercial sales processes
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced scale-up environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English, spoken & written in Dutch is a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 40%
