11 JUN '24: For a upcoming and innovative Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation, we are looking for an experienced Head of Facilities & Services to lead the team on-site in Leiden's BioScience park. The organisation works with early-stage research organisations, start-ups, and SMEs to develop efficient processes and perform GMP manufacturing for ATMP related products & services.

This is how you will make the difference

As Head of Facilities & Services, you are responsible for the effective services delivery for the relevant users including staff and clients. You are accountable for GMP facilities, engineering, warehouse, and logistics departments including QMS related activities. You ensure facility operations are operational for cleaning, waste management, pest control and gowning supplies to support critical day to day operations in the labs and cleanrooms. You manage operational and capital budgets, create management reports, and organise resources according to team priorities and customer needs. You ensure a timely and effective communication and escalation process, while adhering to all safety procedures and compliance requirements.

What you bring

As a thorough problem solver, you bring the following:
  • Proven experience as Head of Facilities & Services in a GMP environment in Pharma/CDMO;
  • At least BSc in relevant field for the responsibilities scope (e.g. Facility management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent);
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant working experience incl. 5+ years in managerial roles;
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English (in writing and verbally).
