We are seeking a passionate Immunologist with expertise in T-cell biology to join their growing research team. In this role, you will design and implement cutting-edge experiments focused on modifying T-cells, exploring mechanisms of T-cell exhaustion, and developing assays to characterise immune cell behaviour. You will work on biochemical assays, genetic modifications, and advanced cell culture systems, contributing to the discovery and development of transformative immune-oncology therapies. This position is ideal for an ambitious immunologist with hands-on expertise in T-cell biology, primary cell systems, and assay development. Key Responsibilities - Assay Development: Develop and optimise biochemical and functional assays to evaluate T-cell behaviour and therapeutic interventions, including T-cell engineering approaches and investigating mechanism of T-celll exhaustion and strategies to restore pro-inflammatory tumor microenvironment. - Cell Culture Systems: Set up and maintain advanced cell culture systems for T-cells and primary immune cells. - Collaborative Research: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including tumour biologists and bioinformaticians, to integrate findings into Flindr’s discovery pipeline. - Innovation: Explore novel approaches to immune modulation and contribute to Flindr’s growing expertise in immune-oncology.
