About your role
This is how you will make the difference
As an Innovation - IT System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems and infrastructure. Your role will be key in ensuring a stable, secure, and high-performing IT landscape. You will upgrade the IT infrastructure by aligning it with industry standards to ensure long-term sustainability while monitoring and maintaining systems to guarantee optimal performance, stability, and reliability. Additionally, you will implement structural improvements by supporting first- and second-line teams with long-term solutions. Developing a clear roadmap will be essential, as you will establish priorities, step-by-step plans, and dashboards to enhance IT management. Strengthening security measures will also be a key aspect of your role, including executing vulnerability scans, server hardening, and implementing security monitoring tools.

What you bring
We seek a technically skilled and proactive IT professional who excels in complex IT environments and takes initiative in driving improvements.
- At least 5 years of experience as a system administrator;
- Proven experience in change and implementation projects;
- Preferably, a background in security-related IT projects;
- HBO degree in a relevant IT discipline;
- Strong expertise in Windows system management and best practices;
- Hands-on experience with Azure, VMWare, and Citrix environments;
- Skilled in third-line IT support;
- Fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills.
