About your role
This is how you will make the difference
As Project Manager you will facilitate in the application process and in the coordination and execution of demonstration projects that drive the Oncode Accelerator Foundation’s mission. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in biomedical or life sciences and previous project management experience, eager to contribute to impactful work in preclinical cancer therapy development.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management and Coordination
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams with multiple partners to facilitate project planning, execution, monitoring and reporting.
• Track project progress, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
• Maintain effective communication between internal and external stakeholders within the project teams and with Oncode Accelerator Foundation colleagues and management.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
Documentation and Reporting
• Prepare project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and progress updates per project.
• Responsible for internal reporting and improvement recommendations to higher management.
• Assist in portfolio management.
Stakeholder Management
• Support strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, and program executives.
• Act as a point of contact for project inquiries and updates.
Risk Mitigation and Compliance
• Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines throughout the drug development process.
what's needed
What you bring
Being the ideal professional for the position you will see yourself in the following:
- BSc/MSc/PhD in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences) is required;
- At least 3 years of experience in Discovery or Preclinical drug development project coordination and/or management, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry;
- Experience with R&D development of oncology therapies is highly desirable;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams;
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail;
- Proficiency in project management tools is a plus;
- Some familiarity with regulatory requirements in preclinical development is a plus.
