This is how you will make the difference

You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation. As a Maintenance Technician you will be working both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues and you will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions while adhering to established procedures and guidelines. Your role includes on call emergency duty once every period, but you work in regular day shifts. You will ensure all activities comply with safety and hygiene protocols, especially in critical environments. The role will also challenge you from time to time as part of your responsibilities include to create improvements throughout the site, which you can work on together with an engineer or senior technician. Finally, your duties entail providing technical input and advice during maintenance planning changes.

What you bring

To excel in this critical role, you will need:

 

  • At least an MBO-3 diploma, in field such as mechatronics, control technology electronics, or measurement and control technology;

  • Certifications of VCA (VOL) and/or NEN3140, or the willingness to obtain them through the company;

  • Ability to comprehend and read technical documents such as blueprints or standard operating procedures (SOP);

  • Intermediate level speaking and understanding in Dutch;

  • Strong sense of responsibility when it comes to safety and hygiene protocols;

  • Enjoys working in teams and collaborating with operators and engineers.
