About your role
This is how you will make the difference
The Scientist QC - Microbiology will act as a subject matter expert in the QC Microbiology group focusing on the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the systems, processes and methods in support of the development.
This includes the ability to interface with multiple groups, the ability to independently perform tasks, interpret results, troubleshoot, and lead complex investigations and change controls. Additionally, the QC Scientist - Microbiology acts as a Subject Matter Expert in establishing continuously new facility processes/modifications, cleaning and sanitisation, qualification/requalification, introduction and validation of new technologies/methods, method transfers, and microbiology related investigations.

What you bring
Within the role we are looking for an expert in QC Microbiology who can independently work with the clients and advice/decide on the use of processes/methods tailored to their needs. This entails a certain level of self-starter characteristics and a sound educational background (M.Sc. or Ph.D.). Moreover, you bring along:
- 3-6 years of relevant microbiological testing in QC, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Demonstrated experience with microbiology techniques.
- Ability to accurately and completely understand, follow, interpret and apply Global Regulatory and cGMP requirements.
- Demonstrated technical writing skills.
- High problem-solving ability/mentality, technically adept and logical.
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, clients, department management and cross-functional peers about task status, roadblocks and needs.
- Advanced ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work from multiple projects.
- Advanced knowledge of LIMS, ELN and laboratory data analysis systems preferred.
- Advanced mentoring, coaching, influencing, negotiating and personnel interaction skills.
