For our client, the European headquarters of a Japanese manufacturer of ophthalmic diagnostic instruments, we are looking for a Service Engineer. This location is responsible for the distribution, sales, and service of ophthalmic diagnostic instruments to opticians and ophthalmologists in Europe, the Middle East and the African market. This is how you will make the difference

The client is looking to expand its office team in South Holland with an ambitious and experienced Service Engineer. In this challenging position, you are responsible for the quality and registration of inspections, repairs and calibrations of high-quality medical instruments. As they strive for the best quality, you carry out the work safely and according to procedures, but you also dare to speak up when processes can be improved.

What you bring

Would you like to work in a team where collegiality is of paramount importance and have a sense of responsibility? Do you have at least a completed MBO education in Electronics and is Tinkerer your middle name? Then keep reading!
 
  • Affinity with ophthalmic instruments and computers is an advantage;
  • Good command of the English language, spoken and written;
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team;
  • Experience with service and repair of medical and ophthalmological instruments is an advantage;
  • A proactive and customer-oriented attitude;
  • Motivation to continue to develop yourself.
