About your role
This is how you will make the difference
As a Systems Architect, you will play a key role in defining system requirements, architecture design, and technical roadmaps for advanced medical device software and hardware integration. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, hardware specialists, regulatory teams, and clinical experts to develop secure, efficient, and regulatory-compliant medical solutions. What you bring
You, as the ideal Systems Architect, will recognize yourself in the following:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field;
- Proven experience in systems architecture design for medical devices or other highly regulated industries, with at least 5+ years of experience;
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, software-hardware integration, and cloud-based medical applications;
- Experience with medical device software standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA software validation, MDR compliance);
- Proficiency in system modeling tools, architecture frameworks (e.g., UML, SysML), and risk management methodologies;
- Ability to define technical roadmaps, ensure scalability, and drive system integration;
- Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken);
- A strategic mindset, able to balance innovation, regulatory compliance, and technical feasibility in system design.
